In this vital role, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nutritional programs to ensure the highest standards of care and satisfaction. Your leadership will inspire your team, optimize dietary operations, and promote health and well-being for our residents or patients. Duties Develop and manage comprehensive care plans that incorporate dietary needs, medical conditions, and individual preferences for residents or patients. Supervise daily dietary operations, including meal preparation, service, and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. Conduct patient assessments to determine nutritional requirements, including specialized needs such as tube feeding or diagnostic evaluation support. Oversee the dietary department's budgeting, inventory management, and procurement processes to ensure cost-effective operations. Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate nutrition interventions, monitor progress, and adjust care plans accordingly. Train and supervise dietary staff, fostering a team environment focused on quality service delivery and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with assisted living standards, care plans, and health coaching protocols to promote optimal health outcomes. Skills Strong knowledge of dietetics principles, physiology, and nutrition science to support accurate patient assessment and tailored care plans. Proven management experience in a dietary or healthcare setting with supervisory responsibilities. Familiarity with assisted living environments and understanding of patient assessment techniques. Experience with tube feeding management and other specialized nutritional therapies. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluation related to nutritional needs and health status. Excellent leadership skills to motivate staff, oversee training programs, and foster a collaborative team culture. Competence in budgeting, inventory control, and resource management within a dietary department. Knowledge of care plan development aligned with individual health goals and regulatory requirements.
