Our team strives to create a compassionate, safe, and nurturing environment where quality of life is our top priority. Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Dietary Manager to lead our dietary services. In this vital role, you will oversee meal planning, nutrition management, and dietary operations to ensure residents receive nutritious, appealing meals tailored to their individual needs. Your leadership will foster a positive team environment while maintaining compliance with health regulations and budgetary goals. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive care plans focusing on residents' nutritional needs, including specialized diets such as tube feeding and diagnostic evaluation requirements Supervise dietary staff, ensuring proper training, adherence to safety standards, and high-quality service delivery Conduct patient assessments to tailor meal plans that support health coaching, physiology considerations, and overall well-being Manage dietary department operations, including budgeting, inventory control, and procurement of food supplies Oversee food preparation processes to ensure safety standards are met and meals are nutritious, appealing, and aligned with dietary guidelines Collaborate with healthcare teams to evaluate residents' progress and adjust care plans accordingly Ensure compliance with assisted living regulations and maintain accurate documentation of care activities Experience Proven supervisory experience within a dietary or nutrition department, preferably in assisted living or long-term care settings Strong knowledge of dietetics, physiology, nutrition principles, and care planning for diverse resident populations Experience with patient assessment techniques and managing specialized diets such as tube feeding or other medical nutritional interventions Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment Familiarity with budgeting processes and inventory management within a healthcare setting Prior experience supervising dietary staff in a healthcare or assisted living environment is highly desirable Join us in making a meaningful difference by ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of nutritional care.
