Starting at $30/hour About the Role Tice Valley Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the nutritional health and overall well-being of our residents through individualized dietary planning, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resident-focused, and passionate about improving quality of life through proper nutrition and clinical dietary care. Key Responsibilities Nutritional Assessment & Care Planning Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans Evaluate residents' dietary needs based on medical conditions, preferences, and physician orders Clinical Collaboration Work closely with physicians, nursing staff, speech therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to support resident health outcomes Participate in care conferences and provide nutrition recommendations Dietary Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility dietary standards Resident & Family Support Educate residents and families on therapeutic diets and nutritional needs Address dietary concerns with professionalism and compassion Food Service Oversight Collaborate with dietary and kitchen staff to ensure menu accuracy, nutritional adequacy, and resident satisfaction Monitor food service practices for quality and safety standards Qualifications Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required Licensed in the state of California preferred Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or long-term care preferred Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team Benefits Competitive hourly rate starting at $30/hour Flexible part-time schedule Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors and post-acute residents Join Tice Valley Post Acute and help us provide exceptional nutritional care in a compassionate and resident-centered environment.
