Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Clinical Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert nutritional care and guidance to patients across diverse settings, including acute care, long-term care, and geriatrics. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through personalized nutrition assessments, care plans, and education. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate nutritional status, including diagnostic evaluations and physiological considerations. Develop individualized nutrition care plans tailored to each patient's medical condition, dietary needs, and long-term health goals. Provide expert guidance on specialized nutrition therapies such as tube feeding, weight management, and dietary modifications for chronic conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, ensuring nutrition interventions align with overall treatment plans. Educate patients and their families on nutrition principles, lifestyle changes, and health coaching strategies to promote sustained wellness. Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns within the dietary department, fostering professional growth and maintaining high standards of care. Document all patient interactions accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and maintain detailed records of progress and care adjustments. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field; registration as a Licensed Registered Dietitian (RD) or equivalent is required. Proven experience in hospital settings with a focus on acute care, geriatrics, or long-term care environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and clinical nutrition practices. Experience supervising staff or interns within a dietary department is highly preferred. Proficiency in EMR systems for documentation and patient record management. Familiarity with dietary interventions such as tube feeding management and weight loss programs. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to develop comprehensive care plans that meet individual needs. Knowledge of healthcare regulations related to dietetics practice and patient safety standards. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Pay:
$40.54 - $48.82 per hour
