Metabolic Coordinator

Metabolic Coordinator Seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and growth-minded Metabolic Coordinator to provide patient care, patient coordination and organization, lab ordering and processing, content generation, program sales, and supplement ordering alongside our functional medicine doctor in a fast-paced, root-cause-focused clinic environment. We are moving into neurocognitive care, so this should also be something you have experience or interest in. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about functional medicine, nutrition, metabolism, hormones, gut health, neurocognitive decline and helping patients finally get answers after years of frustration. Job Description:

The Metabolic Coordinator serves as a key support role within the practice, helping bridge patient education, clinical organization, and metabolic health support. You will work closely with Dr. Marie Starling and our team to help patients navigate their care plans, understand recommendations, stay accountable, and feel supported throughout their healing process. Hours:

30-35 hours/week

Monday/Wednesday:

9am-6:30pm

Thursday:

9am-6pm

Friday:

9am-2pm

Responsibilities:

Support patients through their functional medicine care plans Review and reinforce nutrition and lifestyle recommendations Help patients stay compliant with supplement and protocol recommendations Assist with patient communication and follow-up Help organize lab results, patient notes, and care coordination Provide encouragement, accountability, and education to patients Support metabolic, gut, hormone, detox, and nervous system-focused protocols Coordinate with front desk and practice staff for patient success Maintain accurate documentation and communication within clinic systems Participate in team trainings and continued education opportunities Provide marketing content (i.e educational videos, blogs etc.)

Requirements:

Background in functional medicine, nutritional therapy, holistic nutrition, health coaching, integrative health, or a related wellness field preferred Passion for functional medicine, nutrition, and holistic health Strong communication and interpersonal skills Warm, compassionate, patient-centered personality Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented and highly organized Willingness to learn and grow clinically Professional demeanor and strong work ethic Experience in functional medicine, nutrition, wellness, or healthcare settings is a plus
