Pediatric Dietitian

Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable Registered Dietitian / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our pediatric primary care team. This role provides evidence‑based nutrition care for infants, children, and adolescents within a collaborative, family‑centered medical home. You will work closely with pediatricians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated, high‑quality patient care that helps patients and families thrive. Key Responsibilities Deliver individualized nutrition assessment, diagnosis, counseling, and intervention for patients from birth through adolescence. Support management of a wide range of nutrition‑related conditions Participate in care coordination, including referrals to specialists and collaboration with the care team. Document all patient encounters, assessments, and care plans in the electronic medical record (EMR) in accordance with practice standards. Develop patient‑friendly educational materials and facilitate group visits, classes, or workshops as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition / Dietetics Active Registered Dietitian / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential required. Prior experience working with pediatric populations strongly preferred. Minimum 2 years' experience practicing as RD/RDN. Skills & Competencies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging children and families. Strong documentation, time‑management, and organizational abilities. Ability to translate complex nutrition science into practical, culturally sensitive guidance. Commitment to family‑centered care and health equity. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Working Conditions Outpatient pediatric clinic environment. 24 hour per week position. Includes a mix of in‑person and telehealth consultations. Physical & Technical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and move between exam rooms as needed Ability to lift up to 15 lbs Ability to use a computer for extended periods, including typing and navigating EMR systems Ability to communicate effectively in person and via telehealth (hearing and speaking)

Pay:

$29.00 - $34.00 per hour
