Registered Dietitian Vista Ridge Care and Rehabilitation Pueblo, CO Job Details Full-time $19 - $22 a week 1 day ago Qualifications Long-term care regulations CMS Regulatory compliance CMS regulatory compliance Registered Dietitian Full Job Description The Registered Dietitian (RD) is responsible for providing evidence‑based medical nutrition therapy to residents living in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), Independent Living(IL), Assisted Living (AL). This role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, promotes optimal nutritional status, and supports resident‑centered care through collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Complete nutrition assessments, reassessments, and care plans per CMS, Provide medical nutrition therapy for residents with complex medical conditions Monitor weight trends, intake, labs, and nutrition‑related risks; recommend interventions as needed Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines Accurately document assessments and contribute to MDS and care planning processes Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident‑centered care Participate in quality improvement activities related to nutrition and hydration Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff as appropriate Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition or Dietetics Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration Knowledge of CMS regulations and long‑term care standards SNF experience preferred but not required
