Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dietary Manager to lead our dietary services within an assisted living environment. In this vital role, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and supervision of nutritional programs that promote residents' health and well-being. Your leadership will ensure that dietary operations run smoothly, comply with all health regulations, and meet the unique needs of our residents. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents' quality of life through expert nutrition management and compassionate care. Duties Develop and oversee personalized care plans that incorporate residents' nutritional needs, preferences, and medical conditions Supervise dietary staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of service Coordinate with healthcare teams to perform patient assessments and adjust diets accordingly for optimal health outcomes Manage dietary department budgets, inventory, and procurement processes to ensure cost-effective operations Implement safety protocols for specialized feeding techniques such as tube feeding and diagnostic evaluation procedures Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations related to food safety and resident care Lead efforts in health coaching by educating residents on nutrition and wellness strategies to enhance their overall health Qualifications Proven experience in dietary management within assisted living or healthcare settings with supervising responsibilities Strong knowledge of physiology, nutrition science, dietetics principles, and care plan development Familiarity with assisted living regulations, patient assessment techniques, and tube feeding procedures Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively Excellent organizational skills for budgeting, inventory management, and documentation Ability to perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations related to nutrition needs Prior experience in managing dietary departments with a focus on quality improvement and resident satisfaction Join us in creating a nurturing environment where nutrition meets compassionate care! Pay:
$25.22 - $30.38 per hour
