Morton Plant Hospital, [Clearwater, FL] Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian looking to make a meaningful impact in patient care? BayCare, a leading healthcare provider in Central Florida region is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a competitive sign-on bonus
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing optimal medical nutrition therapy to internal and external customers through comprehensive nutrition assessment and counseling for disease management, treatment and/or prevention. Manages appointment schedule and administrative duties, leads one-on-one appointments, group classes and/or in-services for interdisciplinary treatment teams. Coordinates with other service lines whose customers benefit from nutrition intervention. Collaborates with all departments involved in the outpatient appointment process. Sends documentation of customer's nutrition care plan to referring provider and documents in the electronic medical record. May be called upon to perform the duties of an inpatient Registered Dietitian per the needs of the department; as such, must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform safe and effective inpatient care.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors - Food & Nutrition /
Related Field Preferred:
Masters - Food & Nutrition / Related Field (Effective January 1, 2024, a graduate degree is required for those not initially credentialed by 12/31/23)
Required:
Registered Dietitian through CDR and licensure through the State of Florida, or attainment of state licensure within 6 months of employment.
Preferred:
Board Certified Specialist via CDR or other professional group Why BayCare? Sign-On Bonus may be available at the time of offer
