Temporary $2000 - $2150/week for traveling RDs 40 Hours/week | Starting ASAP for a 3-month duration 250-bed acute care facility Travel offered | 1 year of acute care experience required Immediate benefits eligibility for qualifying placements Weekdays, 8-4:30 Clinical duties only The beautiful beach town of Port Charlotte, Florida is in need of an acute care dietitian! With over 165 miles of waterways, there is always something to do. 1 year of acute care experience required for this travel assignment. Key Duties Conducts a nutrition assessment for patients at nutritional risk per facility policies and procedures Develops and implements an individualized plan for nutrition intervention based on nutrition assessment and evidence-based standards Assess educational needs and provide nutrition counseling for individuals and groups Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in meetings and/or rounds Experience with electronic charting, the Nutrition Care Process and writing PES statements to provide appropriate documentation for the plan of care Works cooperatively with food service staff to ensure conformance to diet prescriptions Demonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients' protected health information Ability to perform work independently with minimal training Required Licenses/Certifications Current Registered Dietitian credentialed by CDR Florida state licensure required at time of submission If you're looking for better work-life balance , consider consulting.
