Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate nutritional status and identify dietary needs Develop and implement individualized care plans focused on health improvement, weight management, and disease prevention Provide expert counseling on nutrition topics such as weight loss, tube feeding, and chronic disease management Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care and accurate diagnostic evaluation Supervise and mentor junior staff and interns within the dietary department to uphold high standards of practice Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document assessments, care plans, and progress notes accurately Educate patients on nutrition strategies, including health coaching techniques tailored to specific conditions like geriatrics or acute care scenarios Skills Strong knowledge of physiology related to digestion, metabolism, and overall health Proven experience in supervising dietary staff or interns within healthcare settings Expertise in managing tube feeding protocols and creating effective care plans for complex cases Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and nutritional assessment tools Extensive background in hospital or long-term care environments, especially with geriatrics and acute care patients Proficiency in using EMR systems for documentation and patient record management Excellent communication skills for delivering clear guidance on nutrition, weight loss strategies, and health coaching techniques Join us to make a lasting impact through expert nutrition care!
