  • Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dietician to join our healthcare team, committed to promoting optimal nutrition and well-being for diverse patient populations.
In this vital role, you will assess individual nutritional needs, develop personalized care plans, and provide expert guidance to support recovery, health maintenance, and long-term wellness. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes across various settings, including acute care, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate nutritional status and identify specific dietary needs Develop and implement tailored care plans focused on health goals such as weight management, disease management, or recovery from illness Provide expert advice on specialized nutrition interventions including tube feeding, dietary modifications, and diagnostic evaluation support Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate nutrition strategies into overall treatment plans Educate patients and their families on nutrition principles, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle modifications Monitor progress through regular follow-ups and adjust care plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document assessments, interventions, and progress notes efficiently Requirements Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field; advanced certifications preferred Registered Dietitian (RD) or equivalent credential required for clinical practice Proven experience in hospital or healthcare settings with exposure to acute care and geriatrics populations Knowledge of physiology related to digestion, metabolism, and nutritional needs across different age groups Hands-on experience with tube feeding protocols and developing specialized care plans for complex cases Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and creating personalized nutrition programs Supervising experience is highly desirable for leadership roles within dietary departments Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and care coordination Join us in delivering exceptional nutritional care that transforms lives!
