Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist contributes to high quality, patient-centered care by identifying candidates for inpatient rehabilitation and initializing timely, appropriate patient transfers. In collaboration with the Rehab Medical Director, the Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist ensures appropriate patient placement through clinical assessments and screening. The Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist serves as an inpatient rehabilitation expert between internal and external referral sources and inpatient rehabilitation operations. The Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible for establishing relationships with case managers, physicians, payors, and other referral sources. What qualifications you will need: + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date + (LBSW) Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker, or (LMSW/RCSW-I) Lic Master Social Worker/Reg Clin SW-Intern must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Benefits Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
