Registered Dietitian Full Job Description Dietitian Job Description:

An independent contractor is responsible for providing diet counseling and nutrition information to our patients. Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of nutrition and dietetics for all age groups; good knowledge of clinic processes and procedures. Considerable skill in assessing and counseling clients on nutritional needs; working skill in preparing and presenting educational material to groups; working skill in delegating to staff and organizing clinic operations; working skill in written and verbal communication; working skill in understanding and interpreting pertinent public health laws and regulations; working skill in developing and maintaining positive and professional relationships with internal and external customers; working skill in operating a personal computer, applicable software, and peripheral equipment; Develops and maintains positive, respectful and professional relationships with internal and external customers. Supports, adapts or delivers services in a manner which ensures understanding and inclusion of diverse client populations.

Dietitian Responsibilities:

Provides normal & therapeutic diet counseling Functions as charge dietitian for the clinic including managing clinic flow and help performing daily office tasks. May lead weekly team meetings, participates in staff meetings/trainings

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and active State License.
