Now Hiring Part-Time Clinical Dietitian Assistant at Sage Bluff & Grey Stone 12 hours per week at each building! Clinical Dietitian Assistants work closely with the Registered Dietitian to enhance the overall health and quality of life for our residents, helping to collect health information and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to implement individualized nutritional plans of care.
Key Responsibilities include:
Completes and updates nutritional status for the resident assessments under the direction of the Registered Dietitian. Performs resident reviews to identify each resident's needs for nutrition services and those at nutritional risk. Works cooperatively with members of the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care. Responsible for recording resident weights to monitor and identify significant weight changes. Conducts regular meal observations, reviews records, and interviews staff and residents to ensure that all residents are receiving food in the amount, type, consistency, and frequency to maintain adequate nutritional parameters.
Qualifications:
Required:
Associate or bachelor's degree in nutrition and Dietetics OR equivalent and actively pursuing a degree in a healthcare field, preferably nutrition/dietetics related or has a current Dietary Manager Certificate (CDM) with a Practitioner Certificate in Nutrition Care or equivalent.
