Job Description

If you're early in your career and want real exposure to product development—not just data entry or lab work—this is a chance to get your hands in multiple areas of pet food production and nutrition. A growing, international pet food manufacturer is adding an Entry-Level Nutritionist to their team in Mishawaka. This role works directly with formulation, quality, production, and procurement , giving you visibility into how products actually move from concept to market. You won't be siloed—you'll be part of the process. What You'll Be Doing Support pet food formulation development and nutritional balancing Analyze ingredients, nutrient profiles, and specifications Assist with new product development and testing Partner with quality and production teams to ensure consistency and compliance Research industry trends, ingredients, and innovations Help maintain accurate formulation and nutritional documentation What Makes This Role Different Exposure to end-to-end product development Work with a global manufacturer investing in growth and innovation Opportunity to build a foundation in both nutrition + operations Team environment where you'll actually learn from experienced professionals What They're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Food Science , or similar 1-5 years of formulation or nutrition experience Understanding of nutrition principles and feed formulation basics Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail Comfortable working cross-functionally with different teams Experience in a manufacturing environment
