Nutritions Services Work Location Lexington, KY Salary Range $23.25-$39.10/hour with weekend differential Type of Position Staff Position Time Status On Call Required Education Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or equivalent Required Related Experience No experience required Required License/Registration/Certification Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian/Kentucky within 6 months of hire. Physical Requirements The physical requirements for this position include: regularly standing/walking with objects up to 10lbs, regularly sitting at a computer work station for extended periods of time (includes repetitive motions). Shift PRN ; Minimum 1 shift per week, approximately 8:00am - 4:30pm, occasional weekends and holidays required Job Summary Performs as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Responsible for the evaluation, coordination, and implementation of the nutrition care plan for patients. Provides education and counseling to patients on their nutritional needs. Ensures customer satisfaction and good public relations through the safe and efficient use of resources. Performs duties in compliance with performance improvement plans, TJC , and other licensing, accrediting, and regulatory agencies. Serves as a nutrition educator for students, medical staff, health professionals, and/or general public. This position will serve in a PRN capacity. The ideal candidate will be available to work regular weekends and holidays as well as weekdays for weekend and/or vacation coverage.
