QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Must meet one of the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree with a major in a related field and any additional educational requirements as applicable;• or Bachelor's degree in any field and a state-recognized certificate for School Nutrition Directors; or Bachelor's degree in any field and at least five (5) years of experience managing school nutrition programs. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Food Service Management. At least two (2) years of the required experience must have occurred within the five (5) years immediately preceding employment. Minimum of 18 hours in Human Nutrition with requirements listed in Bulletin 746. •Specific majors/areas of concentration: food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a related field.
