Full Job Description Sunrise Detox:
Position Title:
Registered Dietitian Sunrise Detox is a premiere center for drug and alcohol detox. Sunrise promises to give you one of the most comfortable medical detox processes available. We believe in creating a different experience where our road to recovery is dignified. Our clients reside in comfortable modern, elegantly furnished rooms where good nutrition is also an essential part of the detoxification process. We offer individual and group counseling to clients and bring in 12 Step meetings to show clients they are not alone once they leave treatment.
Job description:
The Registered Dietitian is responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy, personalized meal planning, and counseling for patients admitted to the facility.
Registered Dietitian Duties/Responsibilities:
Translate nutritional science into practical, personalized health plans for individuals Consult as needed to provide nutritional assessment and education to patients.
Help with specialized needs:
For food allergies, intolerances (e.g., celiac disease), or specialized eating patterns like veganism. All patient encounters will be clearly documented in the electronic medical records system in a timely manner. Responsible for the routine management of all dietary services, to include but not limited to menus, dietary reference manual, kitchen sanitation and hygiene practices of all personnel per regulatory and accrediting standards
Registered Dietitian Requirements:
Active and clean Registered Dietitian license Substance abuse experience preferred but not required Minimum 2 years' experience
Registered Dietitian Schedule:
Onsite a minimum of 2 hours every week at each level of care as needed (REMOTELY)
Registered Dietitian Compensation:
