What You'll Do:
Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments, including annual, quarterly, and interim reviews Participate in resident care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings Monitor resident weight changes and implement appropriate nutritional interventions Review and approve menus to ensure compliance with therapeutic diet requirements Ensure compliance with Massachusetts DPH, OBRA, and Joint Commission standards Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff Serve as a clinical resource to the Food Service Department Participate in surveys, inspections, and required in‑service trainings
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition Registered Dietitian credentials with the American Dietetic Association Active Massachusetts Dietitian license and ongoing CEU maintenance 2 years of long‑term care experience 2 years of long‑term care experience Strong clinical nutrition background with knowledge of therapeutic diets Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with residents, families, and staff Benefits Available for
