MS Teams Job Summary Seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to provide comprehensive nutritional care and consultation to patients and healthcare teams. The ideal candidate will have recent inpatient or acute care experience, strong clinical nutrition knowledge, and experience with enteral/parenteral nutrition and NFPE completion. Key Responsibilities Assess patients' nutritional needs through evaluation of medical history, labs, anthropometric data, and physical findings. Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans and interventions. Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and modify care plans as needed. Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and families. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Document nutrition services and patient progress in medical records. Support nutrition-related education programs, in-services, and community outreach. Supervise and mentor dietetic interns/students as assigned. Participate in committees, special projects, and quality improvement initiatives. Act as liaison with patient and retail foodservice departments. Required Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or related field with ACEND-accredited DPD and supervised practice program required if RD credential obtained prior to January 1, 2024. Master's Degree required for candidates obtaining initial RD registration on or after January 1, 2024. Minimum 1 year of recent full-time experience (within past 5 years) as a Registered Dietitian in: Acute Care Nursing Home Inpatient Rehab LTACH setting Experience completing NFPE (Nutrition Focused Physical Exam). Experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition. Preferred Qualifications ICU experience preferred. Advanced Practice Certification preferred. Skills Required Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and patients. Knowledge of medical terminology and nutrition therapy. Strong documentation and computer skills including Microsoft Office. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform calculations accurately. Schedule Notes Flexible scheduling available. Combination of 4x10s and/or 5x8s shifts. Flexibility on shift start and stop times. Work Environment Normal clinical/office environment with minimal exposure to noise, dust, or extreme temperatures. Certifications Registered Dietitian (RD) Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
