Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here A well-established healthcare and senior living organization is seeking a Dietary Director / Registered Dietitian to oversee dietary operations, clinical nutrition services, and food service management within a long-term care environment. Benefits Competitive compensation package Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits PTO and paid holidays 401k program Stable and growing healthcare organization Long-term career growth potential Responsibilities Oversee all dietary department operations including staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management Manage food ordering, inventory, budgeting, and supply levels Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility dietary regulations and standards Oversee menu planning, therapeutic diets, and nutritional assessments Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings and resident reviews Monitor meal preparation, tray line operations, food quality, and sanitation practices Complete dietary documentation including MDS, assessments, progress notes, and care plans Conduct kitchen sanitation rounds and support survey readiness and plans of correction Collaborate with residents, families, nursing staff, and department leadership to ensure nutritional needs are met Lead department initiatives focused on quality improvement, safety, and resident satisfaction Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited program Licensed or certified Dietitian in the State of Michigan OR Registered Dietitian credential required Minimum 3 years of related dietary or clinical nutrition experience preferred Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations, therapeutic diets, and food service operations Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and customer service mindset
