Full Job Description Overview:
Bring your passion for food and make a difference in the lives of our residents. The Culinary Services Assistant Director is responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for our residents under the supervision of the Director of Culinary Services.
Responsibilities:
Manages the selection, training, development, and performance of assigned staff to retain a motivated and professional workforce. Plans, coordinates, and conducts educational meetings for departmental staff. Collaborates with the Dietitian and Director of Culinary Services regarding menu planning in accordance with nutritional and therapeutic needs of the residents. Fills in when needed in the kitchen and dining area. Orders food and kitchen supplies and works with approved vendors.
Qualifications:
Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Large scale food production experience. Strong desire to work with the elderly.
