Job Overview The objective of the Dietary Coordinator position is to manage all dietary related processes when serving Prism Research volunteers. Duties Works with Clinic Nurse Supervisors and Senior CRCs to ensure that all meals are prepared following the Minnesota Food Code, meet the protocol requirements on each study, and the dietary requirements for our special population studies (i.e. Renal, diabetic, etc.). Responsible for menu development whether study specific or general menus. Responsible for product ordering and inventory management. Meal prep for the other shifts, when applicable. Ensure that the kitchen sanitation and food preparation meet Minnesota Department of Health Standards. Assists as Front Desk staff when available or needed provided training is current for position and study procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in assisted living facilities or healthcare environments with a focus on dietary services. Strong knowledge of physiology, nutrition science, dietetics principles, and care planning processes. Supervising experience within dietary or healthcare departments is essential. Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and diagnostic evaluation related to nutrition needs. Expertise in managing tube feeding protocols and performing safety checks for specialized diets. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of care. Competence in budgeting, resource management, and operational oversight within dietary services.
