In this vital role, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and supervision of nutritional programs that promote residents' health, well-being, and quality of life. Your expertise in dietetics, management, and patient assessment will ensure that all dietary needs are met with precision and care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills. Responsibilities Develop and manage individualized care plans that incorporate residents' dietary preferences, medical conditions, and nutritional requirements. Supervise dietary staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of service. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate nutrition interventions, including tube feeding and diagnostic evaluation when necessary. Oversee the preparation and serving of meals that adhere to safety standards, dietary guidelines, and residents' specific health needs. Monitor the dietary department's budget, inventory levels, and procurement processes to ensure cost-effective operations. Collaborate with healthcare teams to evaluate residents' progress and adjust care plans accordingly. Ensure compliance with all health regulations, safety protocols, and documentation requirements related to dietetics and nutrition services. Provide health coaching to residents to promote healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices. Experience Proven management experience within a dietary department or similar healthcare setting. Extensive knowledge of assisted living nutrition standards, physiology, and dietetics principles. Demonstrated supervising experience with dietary staff or healthcare teams. Familiarity with patient assessment techniques, care planning, and tube feeding procedures. Strong background in budgeting, inventory management, and regulatory compliance related to dietary services. Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations related to nutritional needs is preferred. Leadership skills that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in service delivery.
