About Position:
The primary responsibility of the Dietician is to provide nutrition care and education to Piedmont Health SeniorCare participants and provide oversight of dietary services. Evaluate the participants nutritional status, develop and implement nutritional care plans, assess nutrient requirements, recommend nutritional prescriptions, evaluate participant tolerance and effectiveness of nutritional care and communicate nutritional data and information to the physician's and other health professionals.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution approved by the ACENT (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) with a major in nutrition. Master's Degree preferred. One year of experience with the frail or elderly preferred. Clinical dietetics experience preferred. Ability to teach; analytical thinking Ability to provide care to geriatric participants; knowledge of clinical dietetics Must be able to work under pressure Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Licensure, Registry or Certification Required:
Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RND) or Registered Dietician (RD). Valid NC driver's license.
Immunizations:
Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.
Pay Range:
$59,050 to $79,358 (commensurate with years of experience)
