Travel Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Quality Staffing Specialists are currently seeking skilled Registered Dietitians/Nutritionists to work within the hospital in an Inpatient setting. Seeking a Dietician to primarily cover adult inpatient units (ages 18 and older) and help support the team while new staff is trained. must be competent in Nutrition Focused Physical Exam, identification of characteristics of malnutrition, and good communication skills. Well-organized and focused, efficient, but does not feel that the volume of work is most important. Quality and accuracy are important.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must have 1 year of acute care inpatient setting experience Large population facility experience required - 200+ beds

Patient Diagnosis:

Typical diagnoses in an acute care hospital. Heart failure, HBP, DM, Stroke, Trauma, Orthopedics, Oncology, Renal Failure, GI issues, CAD, COPD, Respiratory Failure, etc.

Units:

ICU, CV ICU, Neuro ICU, PICU, PCU, Med/Surg, Rehabilitation, Orthopedic, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Neonatal ICU.

Therapies/Interventions:

Calorie Counts, Enteral Nutrition (tube feedings), Food-Drug Interactions, Intake/Output, and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN).

Age Specific:

ALL ages except Neonates.

EMR:

Epic experience required Teaching Hospital/Level II Trauma experience preferred Patient Ratio 1:10/15

Location:

Greensboro, NC •You must reside >50 miles from the facility to qualify

Rate:

$2,000/weekly

Shifts Available:

Days:

8:30am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday), 5x8 hour shifts

Scheduling Requirements:

Length of contract: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40

No Weekends No Call Credential Requirements:

Resume reflecting all experience & explanation of gaps in employment Licensed as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN or RD) as issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration Licensed as a Dietitian/Nutritionist issued by the North Carolina Board of Dietetics/Nutrition BLS Certification (AHA only)
