What You'll Do:
Assess and monitor residents' nutritional status and dietary needs Develop, implement, and update individualized nutrition care plans Ensure compliance with physician orders and established dietary guidelines Manage therapeutic diets and necessary modifications Evaluate potential food and medication interactions Document nutritional assessments, progress notes, and care plans Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and staff Collaborate with healthcare team members to support optimal resident outcomes Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required State certification/licensure required Experience in a long-term care environment and geriatric nutrition preferred Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English Must be at least 21 years of age To apply, please complete the required questionnaire.
