Job Description

Responsible for ensuring that all campers, regardless of their dietary requirements, can have safe meals and be fully immersed in camp life. Work closely with kitchen staff, camp nurse, operations director and camp director to monitor that camper needs are proactively handled. Will be in regular communication with parents and have a deep knowledge related to children's allergies and dietary needs.
Job Description:
  • Prepare & package individual meals, snacks and beverages for campers and staff who require specific dietary accommodations.
  • Serve Meals in a safe hygienic way
  • Keep inventory of food supply, kitchen supplies and items
  • Assist in education of safety of food around camp for campers and staff
  • Assist in creating menus/substitution menus for campers and staff with specific dietary restrictions Job Requirements Read and understand food and nutrition labels Work in a team environment Have knowledge of preparing and handling food Create food allergy management plans & reduction cross contamination Attended Staff training Work Daily, 8:15am-3pm Monday -Friday June 29th-August 21st Competitive Salary or Free Tuition for Children to attend
