In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our metabolic and recovery initiatives, working alongside orthopedic surgeons and specialists to provide evidence-based nutritional interventions. Our focus is on total patient wellness—recognizing that optimal surgical outcomes and musculoskeletal health are deeply rooted in nutrition, inflammation management, and body composition.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Consultations:

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for pre- and post-operative orthopedic patients.

Specialized Programming:

Develop tailored meal plans focusing on bone health, inflammatory reduction, weight management, and tissue repair.

Performance Monitoring:

Utilize advanced body composition technology (such as bioelectrical impedance analysis) to track patient progress beyond just the scale.

Collaborative Care:

Work closely with our surgical and therapy teams to integrate nutrition into the patient's broader clinical pathway.

Patient Education:

Empower patients with actionable strategies for long-term lifestyle changes and supplement guidance where appropriate.

Qualifications Certification:

Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

Licensure:

Current New Jersey State licensure (or eligibility to obtain).

Experience:

Preference for candidates with experience in clinical nutrition, sports medicine, or outpatient surgical support.

Tech Savvy:

Comfortable using EMR systems and health-tracking applications to monitor patient data.

Communication:

Ability to translate complex nutritional science into simple, motivating advice for patients of all backgrounds.

Pay:

$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
