Registered Dietitian Full Job Description Registered Dietician Rate:
$28.00 - $32.00/hr. (depending on experience)
Shift:
Full-Time Garden Gate Health Care Facility, part of The McGuire Group is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Dietician (RD) to support the nutritional needs of residents in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for new and current residents Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and medical teams to ensure optimal nutrition Monitor weight trends, food intake, and lab values to adjust plans as needed Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
Requirements:
Current Registered Dietitian (RD) credential by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field New York State certification (or eligibility) as a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist (CDN) Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred Strong communication and assessment skills
