Job Description

Education/Experience Minimum Required:
Bachelors Degree in Nutrition or related field plus successful completion of a supervised practice program for nutrition.
Preferred:
Previous clinical experience
License/Certification Minimum Required:
Eligible to sit for the registration examination for Dietitians, or eligibility for registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration with Successful completion of the Registration Examination for Dietitians within 6 months of hire date. Obtains NYS certification as a dietitiannutritionist (CDN) within 1 (one) year of hire or after passing the Registration Examination for dietitians. CPR Certification.
Preferred:
Registered Dietitian Work Environment Work is performed in office settings and on the resident care floors that requires working in close quarters with other employees. High level of activity and confined space on the nursing units.
