  • $2,900 Weekly (Depending on Experience, Location, and Qualifications) Job Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to provide comprehensive nutrition services within a behavioral health setting.
The Dietitian will assess nutritional needs, develop individualized nutrition care plans, provide medical nutrition therapy, educate patients and staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans. Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) based on patient needs and evidence-based guidelines. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members. Educate patients, families, and staff on nutrition and therapeutic diets. Document assessments, interventions, and progress notes accurately. Participate in menu planning and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards. Monitor patient food intake and adherence to prescribed nutrition plans. Support ongoing nutrition management and patient care activities. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field required. Master's Degree preferred. Certifications & Licensure Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required. Accredited Dietetic Internship required. New York State CDN certification preferred or obtainable after hire. Additional Requirements Must be available for an in-person interview. Strong clinical nutrition assessment and counseling skills. Experience working with interdisciplinary healthcare teams preferred.
