  • Mon•Fri •Locals accepted at a lower rate•349-bed acute care teaching hospital, level 2 trauma Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Assumes responsibility for performing nutrition counseling Completes nutritional assessments Calculates nutrition requirements Completes nutrition focused physical examinations to identify malnutrition Assesses appropriateness and adequacy of nutrition support and makes recommendations on nutrition support Participates in community nutrition programs Functions as a member of the health care team to provide optimal nutrition care to prevent/improve malnutrition rate, enhance wound healing, prevent/improve acute and chronic diseases states/symptom management and overall improve patient care/outcomes.
Occasional float to other units to cover
PTO Cerner Required:
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Registered Dietitian (RD)
Preferred:
Clinical Nutrition experience
