Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Inpatient Dietitian for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments for hospitalized patients. Screen for malnutrition using standardized tools (e.g., Malnutrition Screening Tool). Diagnose malnutrition and develop individualized nutrition care plans. Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy for patients across all age groups. Monitor and evaluate patient nutrition status and adjust care plans accordingly. Manage enteral and parenteral nutrition therapies. Adjust nutrition support based on lab results, energy needs, and clinical status. Recommend dietary modifications, supplements, and nutrition-related interventions. Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families. Collaborate with physicians using protocol-driven nutrition orders. Participate in hospital QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) initiatives. Attend interdisciplinary rounds, departmental meetings, and staff development sessions. Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Required Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN)

Minimum 2+ years of inpatient or critical care experience. Strong clinical nutrition and Medical Nutrition Therapy experience. Experience with malnutrition diagnosis and nutrition screening tools. Ability to manage enteral and parenteral nutrition support. Preferred Qualifications Pediatric nutrition experience. Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) preferred.
