Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Dietitian, where your expertise will directly impact patient health and recovery. In this vital role, you will assess nutritional needs, develop personalized care plans, and provide expert guidance to promote optimal health outcomes across diverse patient populations. Your energy and dedication will help transform nutritional care into a powerful tool for healing and wellness in both acute and long-term care settings. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate nutritional status and identify specific dietary needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans tailored to each patient's condition, including those requiring tube feeding or specialized diets. Provide expert counseling on weight management, dietary modifications, and lifestyle changes to support health goals such as weight loss or chronic disease management. Collaborate with medical teams to interpret diagnostic evaluations and adjust nutrition interventions accordingly. Supervise and mentor dietetic interns or junior staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in dietetics and patient care. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems efficiently to document assessments, care plans, progress notes, and outcomes. Educate patients and their families on nutrition principles, fostering health coaching techniques that empower individuals to make sustainable lifestyle changes. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; registration with a recognized dietetic registration body is preferred. Proven experience in hospital or healthcare settings, especially in acute care, geriatrics, or long-term care environments. Strong knowledge of physiology related to digestion, metabolism, and disease processes affecting nutritional needs. Hands-on experience with dietary management of tube feeding and specialized nutrition support. Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive care plans based on diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments. Supervising experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and communication within multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills with a passion for patient education and health coaching. Pay:
$58,240.00 - $77,168.00 per year
