Comprehensive benefits package and retirement plan Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian specializing in Oncology Nutrition to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert nutritional assessment, counseling, and support to oncology patients throughout their treatment journey. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition interventions and collaborative care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for oncology patients. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans. Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care. Monitor patient progress and modify nutritional interventions as needed. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Educate healthcare providers on oncology nutrition best practices. Remain current with emerging research, clinical guidelines, and advancements in oncology nutrition. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental programs. Adhere to organizational policies, infection control standards, patient safety practices, and professional standards. Support patient-centered care while promoting positive clinical outcomes. Perform additional duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills. Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Preferred Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nutrition experience with a focus on oncology. Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of hire. Experience conducting patient education programs and public presentations.
