Registered Dietician (Contract)
Location:
Bronx, NY Job Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide inpatient clinical nutrition care, patient education, and diet management in an acute care hospital setting. The role focuses on assessing nutritional needs, monitoring food-drug interactions, and coordinating care with physicians and clinical teams. Key Responsibilities Assess and screen patients for nutritional risk and dietary needs Provide nutrition education and document patient understanding Monitor and document food-drug interactions Consult with physicians for diet modification plans Collect and interpret patient history, labs, and clinical data Modify patient meal plans based on clinical requirements Provide follow-up nutritional care and reassessment Maintain accurate documentation in patient records Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field Minimum 1-2 years of inpatient clinical experience (2+ preferred) Registered Dietitian (CDR certification required) New York State Dietitian-Nutritionist certification (if applicable) Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills Ability to work in acute hospital environment Weekend and holiday availability required For more details reach at
