Job Description

Travel Nutrition Specialist in an outpatient setting for a 13‑week assignment in or near Sandusky, Ohio. This role offers competitive weekly pay, no weekend work, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient nutrition and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nutritional assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients based on medical and food habits. Collaborate with medical staff to review and modify diets according to patient needs and medical orders. Educate patients and their families on dietary management during hospital stays and outpatient care. Document all nutritional evaluations and interventions accurately in patients' medical records. Supervise foodservice staff to ensure proper implementation of prescribed diets and protocols.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Dietetics or Nutrition Registered Dietitian license in Ohio Valid Ohio motor vehicle operator's license Minimum 2 years inpatient clinical dietitian experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and familiarity with healthcare documentation and nutrition assessment processes
