General Description:
Plans and directs modified diets for patients, study participants, etc
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. Assessment. Assesses the general nutrition of patients, obtains diet history, and determines dietary record. Guidance. Provides guidance for nutritional problems such as obesity, diabetes, etc. Diet Planning. Plans and implements modified diets for patients, study participants, etc Problem Solving. Responds to various problems and needs concerning equipment and food supplies. Report Preparation. Prepares various reports and records as directed. Monitoring. Monitors day-to-day dietary intake and related operational data. Record Maintenance. Accumulates dietary records for patients or participants. As Needed. Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or closely related field
Experience:
None required. OR an equivalent combination of education and experience License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s)
Required:
Licensed Dietitian from the State of Oklahoma upon hire and Registered Dietitian from the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 90 days of employment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to give full attention to others, taking time to understand points being made. Excellent verbal and written skills. Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with others. Ability to apply general rules or procedures to a specific problem.
