About the Role Klamath Health Partnership (KHP) is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide evidence‑based nutrition counseling, medical nutrition therapy, and care coordination for patients of all ages. This role supports chronic disease management, population health initiatives, and integrated primary care. This position is based at Klamath Open Door and may be structured as full‑time, part‑time, or contract depending on candidate preference and organizational need. What You'll Do Provide individualized nutrition assessments and care plans Offer counseling for diabetes, hypertension, obesity, renal disease, GI conditions, and more Collaborate with primary care, behavioral health, nursing, and care coordination teams Document visits in the EHR and participate in team huddles Support group classes, outreach, and quality improvement efforts What We're Looking For RDN credential (CDR) and Oregon licensure or eligibility ACEND‑accredited internship completion Strong communication and patient‑education skills CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
Preferred:
Outpatient/primary care experience, bilingual English/Spanish, FQHC experience. Working Conditions Clinic‑based environment with direct patient interaction. Occasional outreach or community education events. Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations available.
