Registered Dietitian:
This position oversees all nutrition and nutrition-related education throughout the building, including: Developing comprehensive nutritional plans for each member, in line with his/her care plan Implementing nutrition-based care plans and supplements, then evaluating members for improvement/change Visiting in-home members to conduct initial intakes and dietary planning, then conducting ongoing visits/evaluation to check on progress and compliance Communicating nutritional plans to physicians, nurses, family members and caregivers Ensuring best practices are established and maintained in the kitchen and food prep areas, including food spoilage and sanitation Managing and working within the nutritional budget Working as part of a larger member interdisciplinary team, and serving as the voice of members' nutrition/dietary needs
