Join the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) Are you a clinical dietician looking to make a meaningful impact in human services administration? The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) in Eerie, PA is seeking applications for this role. This is your chance to to support the coordination, inspection, and evaluation of therapeutic diet programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality nutritional care while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards and aligning dietary services with broader clinical and operational goals.
Pay Rate:
$43.00/hour

OMHSAS - South Mountain Restoration Center - 202 S.

Competitive pay and opportunities for professional growth Engaging, impactful work in public service Collaborative environment with supportive colleagues Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a U.S. regionally accredited college/university (or foreign equivalent) Completion of academic requirements accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) Completion of a CADE-accredited supervised practice program Successful completion of the Registration Examination for Dietitians Active compliance with Professional Development Portfolio (PDP) recertification requirements Current licensure in the state of Pennsylvania Essential Skills Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT): Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat nutrition-related conditions (e.g., diabetes, renal disease, malnutrition)
Nutrition Assessment:
Interpreting labs, medical history, medications, and physical findings
Care Planning:
Developing individualized nutrition interventions
Documentation:
Accurate charting (often in EMR systems) for assessments and reassessments
Knowledge of Diet Orders:
