Job Description
Registered Dietitian (Part-Time) Myerstown Nursing and Rehab | Myerstown, PA $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Available! Myerstown Nursing and Rehab is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and enhancing the quality of life for our residents. We are currently seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team in a part-time role. This position offers a flexible schedule while allowing you to make a meaningful clinical impact. Position Overview The Registered Dietitian is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized nutrition care plans to support residents' health, recovery, and overall well-being.
Compensation:
Based on experience Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, including residents with complex medical conditions
- Develop, implement, and update individualized nutrition care plans
- Monitor residents' nutritional status and adjust plans as clinically indicated
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to integrate dietary services into resident care
- Provide guidance to dietary staff on menu planning, therapeutic diets, and regulatory compliance
- Educate residents and families on dietary modifications and nutritional goals
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal dietary regulations
- Maintain accurate and timely nutrition documentation in the medical record Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Dietitian in the State of Pennsylvania
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutritional standards, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
