Job Description

Are you passionate about clinical nutrition and looking for a high acuity hospital setting to further your knowledge and continue to develop your skills? If so, this position is for you! New graduates are encouraged to apply. UPMC Presbyterian is a large teaching hospital located in Oakland, a neighborhood in Pittsburgh. As a part of an inpatient team of skilled Dietitians and Diet Technicians, you will provide quality nutrition care to hospitalized patients. We love our team of innovative and compassionate clinicians and know you will too!
Working Hours:
40 hours per week with flexible start time, rotating weekends and holidays
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care using Medical Nutrition Therapy to assess patients and develop goals and a plan of care. Formulate a Nutrition Diagnosis and identify Malnutrition through Nutrition Focused Physical Assessment and the nationally established criteria for identification of malnutrition. Accountable as nutrition liaison/expert to assigned units & participate as a member of interdisciplinary committees and projects. Participate in department Quality Process Improvement activities. Job title and salary will be based upon qualifications and career ladder requirements.
