You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered nutrition care that truly makes a difference.

Responsibilities:

You'll provide care to diverse patient populations using Medical Nutrition Therapy, including assessments, goal setting, and individualized care plans You'll serve as the nutrition expert for assigned units or committees, helping drive improvements in nutrition care processes You'll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the broader care team to ensure the best outcomes for your patients As needed, you'll ensure documentation meets outpatient billing and regulatory requirements You'll identify malnutrition and develop nutrition diagnoses using Nutrition Focused Physical Assessments and established criteria You'll educate and counsel patients and families, tailoring your approach to their unique needs and understanding When needed, you'll create written materials, presentations, and communications for a variety of audiences You'll provide timely interventions based on each patient's nutrition risk and plan of care You'll participate in quality improvement efforts and help support evidence-based practices across the department You'll carry out order writing in alignment with Dietitian Delegation Order protocols
