Registered Dietitian

Registered Dietitian Come join us at Mt. Macrina Manor! We are a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, 120-bed Skilled Nursing facility in a peaceful, rural area directly off Route 40 in Uniontown. We have served southwestern Pennsylvania since 1971. Our mission is based upon the sponsorship of the Sisters of St. Basil the Great and our staff continues the mission of the Sisters by providing joyous, compassionate care that preserves the human dignity of all whom we serve. We are seeking to hire a Registered Dietitian to become a part of our facility's compassionate care-giving team.

Full-Time or Part-Time Registered Dietitian Introduction:

This role oversees residents' nutritional care, supports our mission-driven approach, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to enhance quality of life.

Registered Dietitian Qualifications:

Pennsylvania Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required. Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred. Knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets. Strong communication and organizational skills.

Registered Dietitian Job Summary:

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents. Develop and implement individualized care plans. Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and food service teams. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (CMS, etc.). Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff. Review menus for nutritional adequacy and therapeutic diets. This is a brief overview of job responsibilities and not intended to be all inclusive.
