Job Description

Registered Clinical Dietitian 16 hours per week At Wayne Woodlands Manor, we are more than a skilled nursing facility—we are a team driven by compassion, respect, and purpose. Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Food/Nutrition you are responsible for providing the highest quality of care in our 117-bed facility to our residents in a family-like environment. The Dietitian will work closely with residents and medical staff to understand the dietary needs, preferences, restrictions, and goals of each resident.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree from an accredited institution with a major in food, nutrition, and health. Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania or additional certification may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop individual nutrition plans catered specifically to residents' health goals, preferences and specific disease or condition. Monitor the residents nutritional progress daily and update nutritional plan accordingly. Participates in care plans meetings. Provide person centered care to determine food and dining preferences to improve quality of life. Analyze and review wound report to facilitate adequate healing of skin integrity with nutritional interventions. Prevention of dehydration and malnutrition. Work concurrently with therapy to ensure therapeutic diets are being implemented for dysphagia management. Oversight of the restorative dining program. Conducts resident food counsel with Director of Food/Nutrition services. Conducts research to regularly stay informed on the latest nutrition and food health updates.
Specific Requirements:
Must be able to critically think to introduce new ideas/programs. Must be able to work as a team. Must be able to read and write the English language. Must possess excellent oral and strong written communication skills. Must possess excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills to complete daily tasks.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently throughout the workday. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Must be able to work independently. Must have the ability to work in a high-pressure work environment.

Pay:
$28.00 - $34.00 per hour
