Based in Flower Mound and Fortworth, TX, our dedicated team is focused on empowering patients to manage their conditions effectively. We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) to join us, with the flexibility to work part-time or full-time hours across two locations.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing personalized nutrition and diabetes education to our patients, developing individualized meal plans, and supporting patients in achieving their health goals. You will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge and helping pump patients or with carb counting Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans and also conduct group visits. Educate patients and their families on diabetes management, including blood glucose monitoring, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. Stay current with the latest research and advancements in nutrition and diabetes care. Participate in community outreach and educational programs to promote awareness and understanding of diabetes management.
Qualifications:
Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) credential required. Registered Dietitian (RD) credential preferred Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in an endocrinology or diabetes care setting is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Flexibility to work part-time or full-time hours and travel between two locations.
