This role begins as a specific vacation coverage contract for 3 to 4 weeks in June , with the opportunity for ongoing, part-time hours (a few hours per week) based on patient volume and need. The ideal candidate has a deep clinical background and a passion for helping patients achieve sustainable health outcomes through personalized nutrition and lifestyle modifications. Key Responsibilities Conduct 1-on-1 virtual nutrition counseling sessions via a secure telehealth platform. Develop evidence-based nutrition plans tailored to individual patient needs, including chronic disease management and wellness optimization. Provide counseling in both English and Spanish to accommodate our diverse patient base. Document patient progress and interventions accurately within the electronic health record (EHR) system. Offer practical guidance on lifestyle modifications, including sleep, stress management, and physical activity.

Required Qualifications Credentials:

Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

Licensure:

Active and unrestricted Texas State Licensure (LD) is mandatory.

Language:

Native or professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

Experience:

Proven track record in clinical nutrition and lifestyle counseling. Experience in functional or integrative nutrition is a plus.

Tech-Savvy:

Comfortable using telehealth platforms, video conferencing software, and electronic medical records.

Schedule & Availability Initial Period:

Full coverage (about 12 to 20 hours/week) needed for 3 weeks in June (dates to be finalized upon hire).

Ongoing:

Approximately 5 to 10 hours per week following the initial coverage period.

Flexibility:

This is a remote position; we can offer flexible scheduling during standard business hours or early evenings.
